With the Christmas juggernaut rolling in, and lots of sugar laden, transfat full, chemically enhanced treats being offered. I thought I would share the recipe I use to make my own healthy chocolate.
So, you can satisfy your sweet tooth and get all the health benefits from real cacao and coconut oil. This chocolate does melt quickly in this Brissy weather, so I tend to keep it in the freezer until I need it.
½ cup coconut oil
¼ cup raw cacao
¼ cup agave/ maple syrup
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp cardamom
Blend all ingredients together and spoon/ pour into silicon mould tray, or ice cube tray. Freeze or refrigerate.
